INPEX CORPORATION participated in “Training Program for Teachers at private companies”, which is organized by Keizai Koho Center (Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs, KKC), and conducted a 3-day training program from 24 to 26 July, 2019.

This program, since 1983, has aimed to provide teachers who have around 10 years’ working experience with opportunities to know more about private companies through the training sessions.

 

21 teachers dispatched by Tokyo Metropolitan School Personnel in Service Training Center attended our training program, consisting of a seminar of introduction to oil and gas industry, a tour to Technical Research Center, and a round table discussion with INPEX employees who have the same number of years of experience as the teachers do. “I’ve learned a lot. Now there are a lot of things I want to talk about in the classroom”, one of the teachers commented.

 

INPEX will continue to implement a wide range of social contribution activities including initiatives to develop the next generation.
