INPEX held its seventh open house for employees’ children on 25th July at its head office in Tokyo. 22 INPEX employees and 28 children of elementary school age participated in the event held during the summer vacation period of elementary schools.
After learning about the company’s business operations and its responsibilities to society, the children took a tour of the workplace and practiced in the exchange of business cards. To conclude, the children took part in a video conference with employees based at the INPEX Darwin office who provided a lecture on the Ichthys LNG Project.
Feedback from the children included statements such as, “I think that my parent is great, because he or she does very important job for people in Japan.” and “It was amazing that I was able to know my parent’s different aspect in his or her workplace.”
