INPEX CEO Delivers Special Lecture at University of Tokyo

INPEX CORPORATION President & CEO Takayuki Ueda delivered a special lecture entitled “Japan as an energy-poor nation and INPEX’s business endeavors” on May 27, 2019 at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP).

The lecture was given as part of GraSPP’s “Energy Security and the Environment” lecture series, which INPEX has endowed since 2010, and highlighted the importance for Japan to secure energy resources while addressing global environmental issues.

The lecture room at the Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo was filled almost to capacity with a turnout of approximately 110 students, where President Ueda engaged in a lively Q&A session with students following the lecture.

INPEX will continue to implement a wide range of social contribution activities including education and empowerment initiatives.
