INPEX has supported its group employees who have volunteered to assist Great East Japan Earthquake relief and recovery efforts in the Tohoku region since 2011.

In 2018, a total of 26 INPEX Group employees participated in a collective action program sponsored by the Non-Profit Organization Watari Green Belt Project held in Watari Town, Miyagi Prefecture. The employees engaged in tree planting for tide water control as well as environmental maintenance of remaining vegetation and tree saplings.

INPEX will continue to support its group employees taking part in volunteer activities.
