INPEX recently collaborated on a University of Tokyo lecture course on oil and natural gas development offered as part of the Environment and Energy Systems curriculum of the Faculty of Engineering’s Department of Systems Innovation under the tutelage of Professor Kozo Sato.
In this “Project Based Learning” lecture course held from November 15 to December 27, 2018, INPEX employees were in charge of all six lectures where students conducted exercises applying actual data from existing gas fields. The course also allowed students to experience real-life practices undertaken by oil and gas development technicians through data analysis using technical software developed by INPEX.
INPEX will continue implementing social contribution activities including education and empowerment initiatives.
