INPEX employees participated as volunteers in tree planting activities at the “Tree Planting Festival in Support of Disaster Recovery Efforts in Sanmu” held on the Hasunuma Nakashita coast in Sanmu City, Chiba Prefecture in Japan on March 10, 2018.
The tree planting activities were held to reconstruct the windbreak in Sanmu City damaged by tsunamis caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. A total of about 200 volunteers including 10 INPEX employees based at an INPEX office located in the city assisted in the planting of about 2,000 Japanese black pine tree saplings.
Going forward, INPEX will continue to engage in social contribution efforts in support of local communities.
