INPEX Holds KIDS DAY for Employees’ Children

INPEX held its fifth open house for employees’ children on July 27 at its head office in Tokyo. 18 INPEX employees and 21 children of elementary school age participated in the event held during the summer vacation period of elementary schools.

After learning about the company’s business operations and its responsibilities to society, the children took part in a video conference with employees based at the INPEX Perth office who provided a lecture on the Ichthys LNG Project. To conclude, the children took a tour of the workplace and practiced the exchange of business cards.

Feedback from the children and their parents included statements such as, “I am happy that I was able to learn that my parent’s work is very important to society,” and “The children got to see their parents at work and the workplace atmosphere, allowing both parents and children to spend valuable time.”
