INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) has supported INPEX Group employees who have volunteered to assist Great East Japan Earthquake relief and recovery efforts in the Tohoku region since 2011.

Between January and December 2016, a total of 24 employees traveled to the municipalities of Natori, Yamamoto and Watari in Miyagi Prefecture in the Tohoku region in six separate visits to take part in recovery efforts.

The employees engaged in waste removal and tree planting for tide water control in cooperation with Global Compact Network Japan and Niigata Ongaeshi-tai, a relief organization based in Niigata Prefecture.

Going forward, INPEX will continue to support INPEX employees taking part in recovery efforts.
