INPEX Launches 2016-2018 Reconciliation Action Plan in Australia

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) launched its 2016-2018 Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) through its subsidiary in Australia in November 2016.

RAP is a public statement highlighting the company's vision, plans and actions to help build strong relationships and enhance equality and respect between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians.

This is INPEX's fourth RAP since the first statement was issued in 2013 and its first Stretch RAP, which sets longer-term, clear and measurable targets.

Through its 2016-2018 Stretch RAP, INPEX aims to build on its solid engagement with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by further enhancing dialogue and implementing programs to help educate future generations as well as setting clear and measurable long-term goals relating to employment and empowerment.

INPEX is one of the first oil and gas companies to formulate a Stretch RAP in Australia.
