The INPEX Group was awarded by UAE University as a strategic partner of the institution’s program in a ceremony held in April 2016, in recognition of the group’s initiatives to support cultural and student exchanges between the UAE and Japan.

The ceremony was held to award companies and organizations that conduct joint research, social investment and other initiatives with the university. Award recipients included government agencies such as Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Al Ain City Municipality and Dubai Police as well as four oil companies such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations Limited (ADCO), TOTAL, France and INPEX.
