INPEX Participates in Third UAE-Japan Friendship Committee on Women's Career Development Co-hosted by ADNOC and JCCP

The INPEX Group participated in the third Friendship Committee for Women Career Development (FCW) held on April 24~27, 2016 as a member of the FCW Planning and Implementing Committee (PIC).

FCW was established in 2015 between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Japan Cooperation Center Petroleum (JCCP) to address female empowerment, which is recognized as an important issue in both the UAE and Japan.

 

H.E. Dr. Maitha Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State, H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Chief Executive Officer, ADNOC, Mr. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Director of Strategy and Coordination, ADNOC and 18 female representatives of the ADNOC group attended from the UAE, while Mr. Tsuyoshi Nakai, CEO, JCCP, 11 representatives of JCCP and a total of 15 female managers and employees from Japanese companies, including two female representatives of INPEX, attended from Japan. The group participated in stimulating discussions on how to exchange information and interact between the two countries in order to advance female empowerment, and provided a report on FCW activities to H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, honorary chairwoman of FCW.
