INPEX Holds Event in Support of Earthquake Recovery Efforts

INPEX organized an event on March 11 at its head office in Tokyo on the fifth anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake in support of ongoing recovery efforts in the Tohoku region.

The lunchtime event, which was attended by President & CEO Toshiaki Kitamura as well as numerous employees, consisted of a special meal featuring Pacific saury caught in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, a lecture on earthquakes given by an executive officer of the company and a presentation by Shinsei, a non-profit organization that assists persons with disabilities in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture.

The event also featured the sales of Polvoron made at 13 welfare centers for persons with disabilities across Fukushima Prefecture supported by Shinsei.
