A total of 28 INPEX Group employees traveled to the municipalities of Yamamoto and Watari in Miyagi Prefecture in the Tohoku region to assist with Great East Japan Earthquake recovery efforts over four separate visits between January and December 2015.

The employees engaged in agricultural activities and tree planting for tide-water control in cooperation with Global Compact Network Japan and Niigata Ongaeshi-tai, a relief organization based in Niigata Prefecture. Participants included employees based at head office and other group operations including: Domestic Project Division; East Japan Regional Office; Teiseki Pipeline Co., Ltd.; Teiseki Drilling Co., Ltd.; Saitama Gas Co., Ltd.; and Keiyo Pipeline Co., Ltd.
