INPEX participated in the Youngsters’ Science Festival Touranament held both in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture on November 21-22 and in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture on December 5-6, 2015.

This annual festival aims to give children experience of joy and inspiration of discovery and nurture their interest in science through experiments and craftwork sessions organized by high schools, universities and companies based in Niigata Prefecture.

More than 1,400 visitors visited INPEX’s booth at this year’s festival and children gasped in surprise and pleasure through experiences of an interactive virtual attraction taking visitors on 3D rides through the Naoetsu LNG Terminal facilities with roller coaster. In addition it became a good opportunity for INPEX to promote much understanding of INPEX’s business as INPEX’s booth was treated by local media.
