INPEX Recognized for Exemplary Childcare Support Initiatives, Awarded Second “Kurumin” Certificate

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) was awarded the “Kurumin” next-generation certification logo by the Tokyo Labor Bureau on September 17, 2015, in recognition for the company’s initiatives to establish a working environment enabling employees to pursue their professional careers while addressing child-rearing commitments, as well as various other working conditions.

This is INPEX’s second “Kurumin” award following the first in 2012, and specifically recognizes the company’s following achievements in childcare support between fiscal years 2012 and 2014:

 

1   Exceeded statistical goals where 6 male employees and 17 female employees acquired childcare leave
2  Engaged in proactive internal communication of corporate measures concerning pregnancy, childbirth and child-rearing
3  Promoted a workplace environment conducive to acquiring childcare leave and facilitating returning to work through the distribution of newsletters, etc. to employees on childcare leave
4  Aimed to reduce overtime work through a campaign to leave the office before 6pm, etc.
5  Supported the upbringing of employee children through organizing “Kids Day” workplace tours
