INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) hosted seven students from the UAE University and the Petroleum Institute in the United Arab Emirates on an annual vocational training program held in Japan this year from July 26 to August 15.

Over the three week period, students underwent practical training and lectures on oil development technology and also engaged in cultural exchanges between the UAE and Japan.

A total of 154 students have so far participated in this training program, which INPEX has hosted since 1993. The majority of the program’s participants currently work for oil companies in the UAE, such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
