INPEX participated in the 39th Indonesian Petroleum Association Convention and Exhibition (IPA Convex) held in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 20-22, 2015.
IPA Convex is Indonesia’s largest petroleum convention and exhibition that attracts a wide variety of stakeholders including high ranking government officials, students, the general public and investors. More than 24,000 visitors attended this year.
INPEX’s exhibited its CSR booth showcasing the company’s social investment program in Indonesia. Among the showcase, ikat weaving project, aiming cultural preservation and promotion of traditional form of textile weaving called ikat endemic to the Tanimbar Islands in the Indonesian province of Maluku, featured an ikat weaver demonstrating her weaving skill. The weaving presentation attracted large crowds and proved popular among visitors.
