The Petroleum Institute (PI), which INPEX Group supports in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates, finished in second place at the Abu Dhabi Solar Challenge (ADSC), the first international solar car race held in the Middle East.

ADSC was held on January 15-19 over a period of five days. The course covered a distance of about 1,200km stretching over the entire Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PI’s solar car team finished in second place among 15 teams in their first international race. For this acheivement, INPEX was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation from the President of PI.
