INPEX to Support Inclusive Education Program of Japan Inclusive Football Federation

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) has decided to support the inclusive education program of the Japan Inclusive Football Federation (JIFF) as a measure to promote the further development of culture and sports, which are focus areas of our social contribution initiatives.

JIFF is an intermediary organization that supports the activities of seven football organizations* serving disabled people. It is a member organization of the Japan Football Association (JFA) and promotes the realization of a convivial society and the popularization of football for people with disabilities in cooperation with the JFA.

The program consists of hands-on classes taught by disabled football players offered in two formats: in person and online. The program takes an educational approach that promotes awareness and understanding of disabilities and diversity among elementary and junior high school students--an age group that has not yet been exposed to discrimination and prejudice--by introducing the tools and rules in football for people with disabilities, and the innovations they can use to improve their performance as well as their daily lives.

INPEX will continue to engage in social contribution efforts to help realize a society in which all people, regardless of disability, can make the most of their abilities and play an active role.
