INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) held its nineth open house for the children and families of employees on July 27 at its head office in Tokyo, Japan. 28 INPEX employees and 30 children of elementary school age participated in the event held during the summer vacation period of elementary schools.

After learning about the company's business operations and its responsibilities to society through a live broadcast with the Naoetsu LNG terminal and quizzes, the children took a tour of the workplace and practiced the exchange of business cards. The children also got a feel for the office environment through a photo spot set up in a conference room, an fan making experience in the Oasis lounge and lunch time.

Feedback from the children included statements such as, "Quizzes about INPEX were fun and employees were kind to me," and "I want to work like my mum when I grow up."

INPEX will continue implementing social contribution activities including education and empowerment initiatives.
