INPEX Awarded Yearbook Member Status in S&P Global Sustainability Awards

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) has been recognized as a Sustainability Yearbook Member in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2023, one of the world's most comprehensive publications providing in-depth analysis on corporate sustainability. This distinction is awarded to companies within the top 15 percentile of their industry and that achieve a score within 30 percent of the score of their industry's top performer. INPEX was selected from 174 global companies listed in the oil & gas upstream & integrated industry category.

Every year, S&P Global evaluates the sustainability performance of companies from economic, environmental and social perspectives using a proprietary evaluation method called the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). CSA serves as the basis for the S&P Global ESG Score, which is a key factor in selecting companies for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), one of the leading global ESG indices. 7,822 companies worldwide were assessed in the 2022 CSA, out of which 710 companies with top scores across 59 industries were included in the Yearbook* this year.

INPEX will cotinue to engage in responsible management under its mission of "contributing to the creation of a brighter future for society by developing, producing and delivering energy in a sustainable way" through its business and fostering trust-based relationships with all its stakeholders.
