INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) announced that it has been recognized as an Environmentally Sustainable Company in the Environmentally Sustainable Companies Category of the third ESG Finance Award Japan presented by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan.

ESG Finance Award Japan recognizes leading initiatives by institutional investors, financial institutions, intermediaries, enterprises and other organizations that are proactively involved in and have made an impact on environmental and social businesses. ESG Finance Award Japan also broadly shares these leading initiatives with society to further promote and expand ESG finance.

ESG Finance Award Japan's Environmentally Sustainable Companies Category presents investors and companies with specific examples of environmentally sustainable companies that incorporate key environmental opportunities and risks in their management to enhance their corporate value and create positive environmental effects while enhancing their corporate value.

34 companies including INPEX were recognized as Environmentally Sustainable Companies for meeting certain information disclosure requirements regarding risks, business opportunities and strategies related to material environmental issues, key performance indicators and governance taking into account industry specific aspects.
