INPEX participated in the Youngsters’ Science Festival Touranament held in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture on February 7-8, 2015. This annual festival held from 1999 aims to foster creativity in children and nurture their interest in science through experiments and craftwork sessions organized by high schools, universities and companies based in Niigata Prefecture.

INPEX has sponsored and exhibited at this festival since 2004, and at this year’s festival, we offered an interactive virtual attraction taking visitors on 3D rides through the Naoetsu LNG Terminal and Ichthys LNG Project facilities. In addition, INPEX exhibited panels introducing the Minami-Nagaoka Gas Field in order to educate visitors on the company’s business operations.
