INPEX, through its subsidiary INPEX Solutions, Ltd., presented a lecture on the oil & gas industry entitled "The Story of Oil and Natural Gas" to sixth graders of Nanyodai Elementary School in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture on June 28, 2022. At the request of Mr. Sekiguchi, the principal, an INPEX lecturer provided an overview of the science and technology used in oil development and showcased a pipeline map and *core samples from Minami-Nagaoka and Egypt.

The lecturer also informed the students of the existence of pipelines near their elementary school and that gas produced at the Minami-Nagaoka Gas Field and liquefied natural gas (LNG) imported from overseas are mixed at the Naoetsu LNG Terminal and supplied to Gunma Prefecture as city gas. The remainder of the lecture consisted of showing a 20-minute DVD on "Oil Exploration to Production," which highlighted the procedures from exploration and drilling to development. The students viewed, touched, and smelled the core samples and watched the DVD with great interest.
