INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) joined the Keidanren Initiative for Biodiversity Conservation, which is led by the Keidanren Nature Conservation Council. The Keidanren Initiative for Biodiversity Conservation consists of companies and organizations that support the principles of the Keidanren Declaration for Biodiversity and Guideline formulated by Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) and the Keidanren Nature Conservation Council.

INPEX recognizes biodiversity conservation to be a significant global environmental issue and is engaged in biodiversity conservation activities. As an example, INPEX identifies biodiversity related risks and opportunities in our business and actively promotes initiatives for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity based on the mitigation hierarchy as outlined in Policy and Commitments on Biodiversity Conservation disclosed in December 2024.
