Lecture given to students of Curtin University, Australia

On July 9, 2024, INPEX welcomed 16 international business students led by Associate Professor Htwe Htwe Thein and Ms. Bec Stafford, Student Experience and Mobility Coordinator, from Curtin University in Australia. We conducted a program at our Tokyo headquarters, which included an introduction to INPEX's business and CSR activities, as well as group discussions with students and INPEX employees.

Curtin University is located in Perth, where INPEX's office is situated, and many graduates from the university have moved onto successful careers at INPEX Australia.

During the program, INPEX employees, including Curtin University alumni, introduced our business, efforts towards achieving net-zero, and CSR activities.

In the group discussions, eight INPEX employees participated and engaged in discussions and presentations on topics such as "differences in business practices between Japan and Australia" and "evaluating the impact of corporate conservation activities on business."

The students showed interest in our clean energy business, including renewable energy, as well as Japanese culture.

Moving forward, we will continue to promote social contribution activities, with a focus on education and next-generation development.
