RSS

In November 2014, the Ichthys LNG Project successfully installed its Riser Support Structure (RSS) tower on the seabed of the Ichthys Gas-condensate Field. In this video, the 120m-long, 20m-wide RSS arch weighing around 1,656 tons is being installed onto the tower. The completed RSS will be a physical, fixed support for flexible risers and dynamic umbilicals that connect subsea gathering systems to the Project’s semi-submersible central processing facility (CPF).

Development Drilling
